One of the greatest game changers in doing this work is recognizing behavior as communication. What are they really communicating? What’s being said without words? What need are they, likely subconsciously or unconsciously, trying to meet?
We are rarely in the present moment— either triggered from our past or projecting into the future in the midst of an undesirable behavior. The true magic is when we can return to the present to SEE the child in front of us and get curious about their current need. What narratives did you grow up with about behavior? What comes up for you in the moment?
This workshop will support you in accessing the tools in your toolbox to calm your nervous system proactively and reactively in order to navigate children’s triggering behaviors.
