A struggle-free sleep routine is possible.
An adorable tiny human by day, but then there’s the night...
Lately, you’ve noticed a transformation in your kiddo, and you're not such a big fan. By day, your kiddo is the sweet babe you know. By night, he becomes a colicy, screaming human that won’t let you out of his sight.
Nap time with your little one has become a struggle for you both. She pushes against the routine you’ve tried to set and fights her sleepiness, only to have a meltdown by later that afternoon.
During the day, your kiddo is secure and confident. As it gets closer and closer to bedtime? It’s a different story. He finds every means of stalling, hoping to avoid getting ready for bed. An hour-long, tense bedtime routine has somehow become the norm.
And then there’s the midnight, 2 am, and 4 am wakeups. You knew that might happen in the early weeks of your kiddo’s life, but is waking up every couple of hours supposed to last this long?
What if sleep weren’t a struggle?
Imagine a different scenario...
It’s 8 pm, and your three-year-old is tucked away in bed, having gone through her bedtime routine in 20 minutes. Her little brother is also in bed, having taken a nap earlier in the day.
You wake up on Saturday morning and realize your kiddos have slept through the night. You find yourself enjoying the day with them because you’ve all gotten the rest you need.
Sound like a far fetched dream?
Introducing our Sleep Classes.
With three different courses designed specifically by age group, our Sleep Classes show you how to establish and maintain developmentally appropriate expectations (DAE) so you can implement sleep routines for your kiddo.
Our sleep classes are broken out into age groups to help you learn the fundamentals of healthy sleep habits starting at the age your little one is right now.
We know every child is unique, and we treat them that way.
When it comes to building sleep habits, a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work. Built on our years of experience providing one-on-one sleep support to parents, we support folks with tools to build daytime coping strategies that children can utilize at nighttime. All of our plans are emotionally supportive to maintain secure attachment. We never use the cry it out method. There will usually be crying because it’s how our kiddos let us know their feelings, so we share coping strategies and help you both find your calm.
Are you ready for better sleep?
Our sleep classes will help you establish, implement, and maintain healthy sleep routines. We’ll help you build your own coping strategies in order to hold space for your child’s feelings, and the ongoing support provided by our village is there for you on every step of your journey. Parents who implement the tools we teach in these courses begin to see changes within a week, and 98% of them reach their sleep goals.
We had been having bedtime battles with my 3.5+ yo son for months. It took an hour to get through his bedtime routine. Some nights he would refuse to go to sleep, run around the house and/or stall for hours. I’m not a ‘soft’ parent. I’ve been a teacher for years. I make rules. We have routines. I like to think I follow through. But somehow, as much as I tried, I could not figure out how to navigate this situation.

She gave me strategies to shorten the routine from an hour to 20-30 min. She moved his bedtime 1/2 earlier (hallelujah!). I was so relieved to have a plan. She also gave me strategies to help us all deal with my son’s emotional outbursts. And with sibling conflicts. I learned so much in that hour! And I felt an enormous sense of relief. I felt in control of my life again.

Having a second kid meant that we were operating on survival mode for a while, and we found ourselves with a wonderful 20-month-old during the day and a tiny, manipulative dictator at night. Alyssa’s wealth of experience (and compassion) allowed her to size up the situation quickly and give us a plan that we were very comfortable with–one that worked within a handful of days.

The best part was my son’s change in mood. He became such a happier camper with enough sleep! He was able to handle transitions and changes with more flexibility than we had ever seen from him. I can’t say enough about Alyssa’s talent with children and families. Her work with us had changed our lives in many, many positive ways!!

I was immediately struck by Alyssa’s attention to detail and wealth of knowledge. Her deep compassion for children and families was SO clear. She seemed to grasp the nuances of what makes our son an individual—both when he’s awake and asleep—in a way no one had before (including the other sleep consultant).

With Alyssa’s help we were able to get our daughter to put herself back to sleep at night (she was waking up every hour or so). That enabled us to move her out of our bedroom and into her brother’s room. As soon as we made this change, I was filled with a feeling of ‘Why in the world didn’t we do this MONTHS ago?’ I was afraid of shaking things up, afraid of an overtired kiddo, but in reality we all get much more, better sleep now. Everybody won.
